He completed postgraduate medical training in General Surgery and Anesthesiology at Boston University Medical Center. He returned to New York University Medical Center, an American Society Pain Society Center of Excellence, and completed fellowship training in Pain Medicine. He is a member of several Anesthesiology and Pain societies and remains fully apprised of the latest innovations in this rapidly advancing field.
Throughout his career, Dr. Ghazal has served in multiple leadership roles including Director of the Pain Medicine Clinics at INOVA Fair Oaks and Mt Vernon hospitals in Northern Virginia, and as the Director of Pain Services at Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Spring, Maryland.
Dr. Ghazal enjoys spending time with his family playing sports, cooking and traveling. He volunteers regularly on youth sports teams and volunteers with his family for charitable causes.
